Papillon Dogs Pictures Brief information on Papillon: The Papillon (from the French word
for butterfly, pronounced: [papiˈjɔ̃]), also called the Continental Toy
Spaniel, is a breed of dog of the Spaniel type. One of the oldest of
the toy spaniels, it derives its name from its characteristic
butterfly-like look of the long and fringed hair on the ears. A papillon
with dropped ears is called a Phalène (French for moth). The small head
is slightly rounded between the ears with a well defined stop. The
muzzle is somewhat short, thin tapering to the nose. The dark, medium
sized, round eyes have thin black rims, often extending at the junction
of the eyelids towards the ears. The large ears can either be erect or
dropped with rounded tips. The teeth meet in a scissors bite. The long
tail is set high carried over the body, and covered with long, fine
hair. Dewclaws are sometimes removed. The straight, long, fine, single
coat has extra frill on the chest, ears, back of the legs and the tail.
Coat color is white with patches of any color. A mask of a color other
than white covers both ears and eyes from back to front.

Yorkshire Terrier Dog Breeds Puppies Pictures Brief information on Yorkshire Terrier: The Yorkshire Terrier is a
small, toy sized dog. The small head is rather flat on the top, with a
medium sized muzzle. The teeth meet in a scissors or level bite. The
nose is black. The medium sized eyes are dark with dark eye rims. The
erect ears are V-shaped. All four legs are straight when viewed from the
front. The round feet have black toenails. Dewclaws are usually
removed. The tail is customarily docked to a medium length and carried
somewhat higher than the back. Note: it is illegal to dock tails in most
parts of Europe. The long glossy coat is fine and silky and falls
straight down on either side. Coat colors come in a steal blue and tan
color. The body and tail are blue and the rest of the dog is tan.
Puppies are brown black and tan. The hair on the head is so abundant
that it is almost always necessary to gather it in a band to keep from
going into the dog's food bowl and to give the animal maximum
visibility. Some owners choose to trim the hair on top of the head.

Miniature Pinscher Puppy Pictures . Brief information on Miniature Pinscher: The Miniature Pinscher
(Zwergpinscher, Min Pin) is a small breed of dog, originating from
Germany. The breed's earliest ancestors may have been a mix of Italian
Greyhounds and Dachshunds. The international kennel club, the Fédération
Cynologique Internationale, lists the Miniature Pinscher in Group 2,
Section 1.1 Pinscher, along with the Dobermann, the German Pinscher, the
Austrian Pinscher, and the other toy pinscher, the Affenpinscher. Other
kennel clubs list the Miniature Pinscher in the Toy Group or Companion
Group. The Miniature Pinscher is colloquially known as the "King of the
Toys".
The misconception that the Miniature Pinscher is a "miniature doberman" occurred because the Doberman Pinscher was introduced to the US before the Miniature Pinscher. In 1919 the Miniature Pinscher was introduced to the AKC show ring. At the time, not knowing that it was referred to officially in Germany as the Zwergpinscher (dwarfpinscher), the AKC referred to the breed as simply "Pinscher" and listed it in the miscellaneous category. When the Miniature Pinscher Club of America (MPCA) was created in 1929 (the year of the breed's official introduction into the AKC), they petitioned for Miniature Pinschers to be placed in the Toy group. The AKC's description, that the dog "must appear as a Doberman in miniature", led to the misconception common today that this breed is a "Miniature Doberman Pinscher". The original name for this breed in the US was "Pinscher" until 1972 when the name was officially changed to Miniature Pinscher.

Shih Tzu Small Breed Dogs Pictures. Brief information on Shih Tzu: A Shih Tzu is a breed of dog
weighing 4–7.25 kilograms (8.8–16.0 lb) with long silky hair. The breed
originated in China. Shih Tzu were officially recognized by the American
Kennel Club in 1969. The name is both singular and plural. Shih Tzu is a
small dog with a short muzzle and large dark eyes. With a soft and long
double coat, the Shih Tzu stands no more than 26.7 cm (101⁄2 in.) at
the withers and with an ideal weight of 4.5 to 7.3 kg (10 to 16 lbs).
Drop ears are covered with long fur, and the heavily furred tail is
carried curled over the back. The coat may be of any colour, though a
blaze of white on the forehead and tip of the tail is frequently seen.
The Shih Tzu is slightly longer than tall, and dogs ideally should carry
themselves "with distinctly arrogant carriage". A very noticeable
feature is the underbite, which is required in the breed standard.
